We were thoroughly pleased with every step of the process of getting new granite counter tops for our kitchen from Duca Granite & Tile. Their designer was extremely helpful in her suggestions regarding styles and colors best suited for our kitchen, and the installers were very professional in their preparations and installation. All work was done in a timely fashion without any inconvenience to us at a cost that was comparable or below other estimates.
We decided to go with Duca tile and Granite in Holland a michigan to do our stone work in our kitchen and bathes. The process began with us going to their showroom and meeting with Tim who is the Sales person and who bids out all of the work. Tim is very easy to work with and he along with everyone we worked with did an outstanding job from the planning through to the completion phase of the project. We did to cover the walls in our master bath with travertine with a 4″ band of mosaic slate that wrapped around the room. They did new countertops in the bath in a gold and black granite. We had a dark green and gold slate on the floor and in the shower surround. The bathroom vanity was a 60′ solid cherry in the shaker style, custom built by Riegsecker in Shipshewana, Indiana. Duca installed the vanity and complete all of the work in the master including undercount sinks. Duca completely resurfaced our kitchen counters in peacock verde polished granite with a green honed 4×4 marble in running bond. The skill and professionalism of the craftsmen was wonderful. They took great care to keep dust to a minimum and the job site was always clean. Joseph Boot, the owner came out upon completion and inspected the job to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction. We hope to build another home in the coming year and Duca will be given a no bid contract to do the work. They are the most sought after tile and stone contractors in the area because of the European quality of the work. It is a sight to behold.
Tim, from Duca Tile was excellent to work with on our kitchen project. We replaced Corian with Quartz and selected plain white subway tiles for our backslash. he fit us into a tight schedule in a timely manner and we were happy with the installation.
We researched every granite company in Holland and surrounding cities when we were looking to remodel our kitchen. Duca had by far the best price and selection. We were able to go there and pick our exact granite. They are very helpful and friendly. We left for work with out old counters and came home to new granite counters installed. We are going to use Duca again when we remodel our bathroom. We ended up installing the backsplash ourselves, but Duca also offered great prices and selection for tile backslashes as well.
